For thousands of years, Kerala, India’s most tropical and southerly state has attracted traders and explorers in search of its spices, influencing and transforming its cuisine into a true melting pot of Portuguese, Spanish, English, Arab, and French influences.

You will learn about various dishes such as Kerala Fish Curry with coconut milk, Appam ( fermented bread ) and Stew, Beef Cutlets to name a few. We will see influences of black pepper, coconut milk, cardamom, that bring magic to meat, fish and vegetables alike.

1. What is included in the classes?

All ingredients and equipment are provided.
Lunch / dinner depending on the time of the class is included.
A recipe pack based on your session is available to take home.

2. Where and how is it taught?

All Classes are taught at Cathy’s kitchen.
All classes have a maximum size of 4.
There would be a demo square plus 2 other cooking stations that can be shared.
All classes start with introduction to Indian spices.

3. Who can join for the classes?

Classes are for anyone 18 years or over.
Ideal for those who want to improve their cooking skills or for beginners in love with Indian food.

4. Can i change class or get a refund?

Full refunds can only be given if the class is over two weeks away. If under two weeks then we can discuss another suitable date and class to attend.
